Hilary Duff is showing fans what dreams are made of while participating in the SAG-AFTRA strike.
After the actor’s guild announced plans to strike last week, a multitude of stars have gone out on the picket lines to demand better terms in a deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
The Lizzie McGuire actress was spotted taking a stand on Monday (July 17), and she did so by throwing in a fun and festive reference to her hit series on the Disney Channel.

In a video obtained by Deadline, Hilary is dancing on the picket line while singing along to her song “What Dreams Are Made Of.” Fans will remember that the euphoric hit appeared in 2003′s The Lizzie McGuire Movie.
Hilary was joined by How I Met Your Father co-star, Francia Raisa.
Of course, seeing Hilary reference her Disney days is a nostalgia-inducing throwback. It’s also a reminder of what fans could have had again in the 2020′s.
The actress was set to reprise her role in a Disney+ series that was put on ice in late 2020. Hilary provided an update on the show during an interview earlier this year.
Since the show was scrapped, she has hinted at what the plot would have been like.
Speaking of “What Dreams Are Made Of,” she also provided an update on her music career and if she has any plans to record again.
